The birth of a new era…

Posted

Such a special message I wanted to share with you all. To all my long time friends, Facebook friends, students, fellow stylists, please read the below press release regarding Sharon Blain Education Team:

Industry Icon, Julie Hagney to join leading educational brand, Sharon Blain Art of Education

With an educational brand that has marked its name as the leader in the Australian hairdressing industry for long hair education, and now leading the way on a global scale with an education programme touted “the best on offer”, Sharon Blain has just announced, Julie Hagney to her creative team as international educator.

This month sees the end of an era and the birth of a new one. Paula Hibbard, charming and talented educator has decided to move on from Sharon Blain Education. Such an integral part of the education team for over 3 years, she has touched so many and will be remembered by all who have had the pleasure of working with her. With plans to devote her time towards bridal hair and focusing on her young family, she will be sorely missed and the team wish her all the best in her future endeavours.

With such a huge loss, Sharon Blain Education stands with their mantra to provide the highest level of education, therefore it is vital to introduce an educator who is super talented, equally overflowing with personality and who is extremely capable and confident to step into her big shoes.

Sharon Blain is delighted to welcome Julie Hagney, an industry icon, who’s experience, ability, skills and qualification are well respected in the Australian hairdressing industry.

Having worked as an Aveda educator for ten years and then moving on to head up Pivot Point Academy in Sydney, her wealth of knowledge can only enhance the Sharon Blain Education brand.

Trainer, Doreen Gatt quoted, “I am thrilled to welcome Julie to Sharon Blain Art of Education. We are excited to work alongside such an amazing hairdresser and we look forward to seeing the brand expand further with the “new team image”.”

Julie will join the team of international trainers by assisting Sharon Blain in USA, Canada, Germany and the UK this year. Long hair enthusiasts will see her included in Sharon Blain Art of Education’s national calendar for 2014/15 and will also be available for in-salon training.

Sharon Blain Education has also announced the appointment of Angie D’Cruz as Educational Brand Manager. With a wealth of knowledge from a strong corporate back ground, Angie’s role will include co-ordinating the education program, logistics and administration.
